| In the event of an emergency, we’d like to
reach you as quickly as possible, wherever you may be.
Yeshiva University has implemented a text- and
voice-messaging emergency alert system (AlertFind) that will
be used as an important means of providing emergency alerts,
timely warnings, and notification of major campus or
facility shutdowns. AlertFind will not be used
for general announcements – only issues presenting a threat
to community safety or situations that require
time-sensitive distribution of information.
We urge you to register your
cell phone or SMS (short message service), text device,
BlackBerry and even land-line home phone with the service.
AlertFind allows you to register multiple devices, and you
can be notified at different locations via different devices
simultaneously.
For security purposes, an active YU email account is required for registration. Parents who wish to receive notifications through the Alert Find system should add their contact information to their child's registered account, as YU student accounts allow for multiple contact numbers.
This system is important to
your safety, and we ask that you read all the pages here
before registering. When you're ready to register, please go
to Getting Started for further
instructions.
We recommend you disable the
pop-up blocker in your web browser before you proceed.
Please click here for instructions for common browsers. If you need
further assistance please contact the ITS Help Desk.
